Jamaa Alfna Square

Jamaa Alfna Square is a famous public square in the southwest of the medina of Marrakech in Morocco. This traditional, popular and lively mecca, especially at night, attracts more than a million visitors each year.

The Secret Garden

The Secret Garden opens to the public for the first time in its history. The origins of the complex date back to the time of the Saadian dynasty, more than four hundred years ago. Rebuilt in the middle of the 19th century by an influential caïd from the Atlas, Le Jardin Secret was the home of some of the highest political figures in Morocco and Marrakech.

Mouassine Museum

The Mouassine Museum is a museum in the Mouassine district of the historic medina of Marrakech, Morocco. The museum is housed in a recently restored 16th to 17th century house which includes an upper floor apartment called a douiria.

Medina Souks

The souks of the medina of Marrakech are veritable labyrinths of stalls and craft workshops, organized by district and trade and bring together more than 2,600 Moroccan craftsmen for some twenty corporations. The main souk extends in the center of the medina, from the north of the famous Jemaa el-Fna square to the Medersa Ben Youssef. The central alleys that cross the souks are reserved for sales stalls originally supplied by the craftsmen who work in the adjacent alleys.

Koutoubia Mosque

The mosque is 200 meters south of the Jamaa El Fna square, the city's historic market. It is bordered by Avenue Mohamed VI to the north and by Avenue Hommane Al Fatouaki to the south. Around the mosque is the Sidi Ali Bel Kacem cemetery, gardens, Lalla Hasna Park and the former French consulate, now the consul's residence.
